A Senior Project Manager, certified by the Project Management Institute, and IT Director with over thirty years of experience delivering high-quality systems solutions and providing application support for web, mainframe, PC and VAX platforms. Mr. Gervais has successfully managed application development and support activities ranging in length from three month projects to multi-year programs. He has also led small and large teams working independently and in concert with each other, as well as managed IT development departments and improved solution delivery life cycle processes and deliverables. He has led a Project Management Office for the largest newspaper chain in Canada. Mr. Gervais was brought in as Development Manager to introduce project planning and necessary review checkpoints to improve quality and overall delivery performance for a leading M2M Service Provider, resulting in major improvements in delivery speed and quality. As an independent contractor Senior PM, Mr. Gervais has managed multiple Cyber Security projects for The Great-West Life Assurance Company, including the selection and deployment of an enterprise Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solution in six data centres across two continents. Mr. Gervais has been most recently engaged to manage Customer First initiatives and IT initiatives for Manitoba Telecom Services. On personal time, Mr. Gervais has created delivered custom applications for two small businesses, one in Winnipeg and one in Regina. As a staff consultant, Mr. Gervais has managed a wide variety of projects for private sector and public sector clients in Winnipeg and in the United States.
